Lackland ISD Library Book Purchase Preview Process

In alignment with Policy EFB (Local), all new library book donations and purchases must be available for community review for a minimum of 30 days before they can be approved by the Lackland ISD Board of Trustees and added to library shelves.

To ensure transparency, Lackland ISD will publish a list of proposed book titles 30 days prior to Board approval. Each title will include all applicable ISBN formats (paperback, hardcover, e-book, audiobook, etc.).

Important: Posting a list does not mean every title will be adopted. Individual titles may be excluded based on feedback or district review.

Below are current lists of titles to be considered within the noted 30-day review period and projected date for Board of Trustee consideration.  If you would like to provide feedback on any proposed title, please use the feedback form linked provided. Your input will be considered by the district before final decisions are made.
