  • Breakfast starts at 7:15. Campus grounds are not open until 7:15. Students cannot be left on campus until 7:15.
    Lunch prices as well as menus each month, can be found on our Child Nutrition Services page. 

  • Meet the Teacher will be held on Thursday, August 7th.

    1st - 5th grade, please stop by during the designated time below for a quick meet & greet with your child’s teacher and to drop off your child’s school supplies.
    PK & Kinder are Meeting the Team in the Elementary Cafeteria. Please do not bring school supplies.


    Student lists will be posted inside each grade level building. Please only visit during your designated time.

  • The First Day of School is Monday, August 11, 2025.

    School starts at 7:45 and ends at 3:15. In the morning, parents can begin lining up to drop off at 7:10am. In the afternoon parents can begin lining up or walking across the street to pick up at 3:10pm.
     

  • For children’s safety, we continue to be a secure campus. Only students will be allowed to enter the school buildings. Staff will be located throughout the elementary campus and at each entry door to assist students.

  • PreK and Kinder students have a “soft start” to the school year to include the following parameters:

    Monday, August 11th - Friday, August 15th:

    • Arrival time begins at 7:15 am
    • Tardy bell rings at 7:45 am
    • Dismissal is at 12:00 pm

    After the first week, dismissal will be at 3:15 pm.

    Students will not be assigned an official homeroom teacher until after dismissal on Friday, August 15th.

    Before and after school care information:
    Students who enroll in the YC/CDC programs are walked over by YC/CDC staff to the elementary school each morning and then walked back in the afternoon.

At Lackland Elementary, our dedicated team of educators and staff work collaboratively to inspire lifelong learners and responsible citizens. We understand that every student is unique, and our goal is to provide personalized pathways that support each learner’s academic and personal growth.
