Mrs. Sherrick

Hello! My name is Diana Sherrick and I'm excited to be a part of Lackland ISD!

As a military child I had the pleasure of living in New Mexico, Virginia and then San Antonio where I attended Taft High School. I always knew I had a passion for teaching, so I continued my education at Texas State University. In 2007 I started my teaching career at Pflugerville ISD where I taught 1st grade for 7 years. I then went on to teach 3rd grade for 8 years at Harlingen HCISD.

I am also a proud mom of my son Peter Thomas who was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. If you have ever read the book or saw the movie "Wonder" you know a little bit about my "little wonder."

As a mom I know safety is top priority and I promise your child will feel loved and safe in my classroom. As an educator I strive to deliver the best education for your child to help foster a love of learning as they begin their educational career.
