Important Reminders for Parents

Incoming Telephone Calls

• The ringer most classrooms will be turned off or kept on a low ring during the day. Teachers may not answer calls when they come in. Please contact the main office at 357-5053 if you should have an emergency or urgent message that needs to be passed along to the classroom teacher that day.

 
Visitors

• All visitors must check in at the main office. Please try to keep class distractions and interruptions to a minimum, especially during drop-off or pick-up times. These are usually hectic times when many things are dividing a teacher's attention, and for the safety of your children, teachers should not have their attention directed away from the children. If you wish to speak with your child's teacher about his/her progress or concerns, please email the teacher to schedule a phone call or face-to-face conference. Thank you.

 
Attendance

• Students who are not ill are expected to be at school each day no later than 7:45 am. Please bring a doctor's note or a parent note after any absence. Absences of 3 days or more need special permission from the school principal.

 
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up

• Parents are asked to please not park along the curb or in the PreK/K drop-off circle. Please use the school parking lot or the commissary parking lot if you would like to walk your child in or pick them up.

Messages From The Nurses

• Your child's immunizations, contact information, and student health information must be current. Please remember to supply them and your child's teacher with updated phone numbers and student health needs throughout the school year. The nurses will not provide clothing at school. Please provide a change of clothing in your child's backpack in case of emergencies.
