Biography

Hello Lackland Eagles! My name is Judith Rodriguez and I am the school counselor for Pre-K-2^ndgrade. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Psychology in 2013. I began my teaching career at Lackland in 2014 as a first-grade teacher. During my teaching career, I found myself becoming passionate about social-emotional learning and helping my students acquire the skills necessary to be successful not only in school but in life as well. I decided to further my education and in 2021 I graduated with my Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

As a school counselor, I strive to support our students in all academic, social and emotional areas needed to be successful in school and in life. I am very excited to share my passion and knowledge with my students and families.

I am happily married and have a very energetic little boy who keeps me on my toes. We are currently expecting another baby boy who we can’t wait to meetIn my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, and traveling.

I look forward to sharing with, as well as learning from, all of you this year!

My name is Jennifer Dominguez, and I am a counselor at Lackland Elementary for 3rd-6th grades, and also the campus testing coordinator. I am a San Antonio native, and earned my Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. My Master's in School Counseling was earned at Our Lady of the Lake University, here in San Antonio. Before coming to Lackland, I was a Family & Consumer Science teacher for eight years, and a high school counselor for three. My goal is to help support our students both academically, socially and emotionally, so they can become the best "me" they can be! I am very excited about being a part of the Lackland family!
