Mrs. Crawford

Hello, my name is Joy Crawford, and I’m delighted to continue working as a teacher each and every year! I love expanding my knowledge and skills to continuously improve my craft. I started teaching in 2012 and I’ve been at Lackland Elementary since 2014. I have taught 4^th and 5^th grade in these years. I received my degree from Park University while serving in the Air Force, and continued on to a Master’s degree from UT Tyler. Despite being prior military, I am a Texan born and raised. I am married and have two energetic kids who keep me busy! In my spare time (HA!) I like to work out and catch up on reading. I am organized, enthusiastic, and committed to meeting the needs of all my students! I absolutely love teaching and I have high expectations. However, those expectations are what make my students THRIVE!
